Rise Inside

Welcome to tuluatherapy

The lotus begins its journey beneath the surface, growing through difficult conditions before rising and opening into something beautiful. It represents resilience, healing and transformation, a reminder that growth is possible even after life’s most challenging experiences.

Life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected or carrying experiences that feel difficult to process. Therapy provides a confidential space to explore these challenges, develop understanding and begin creating meaningful change.

At tuluatherapy, I offer a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental therapeutic space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences at your own pace.

I believe that every person’s journey is unique. Working collaboratively, therapy can help you recognise patterns, develop self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

My approach is based on trust, respect and understanding, supporting you to explore both past experiences and present difficulties while moving towards growth and emotional wellbeing.

“Grow through what you go through.”

Taking the first step into therapy can feel challenging, but it can also be the beginning of change. At tuluatherapy, you will be supported as you take that step towards reflection, healing and personal growth.

My Approach

What can you expect?

Life can bring challenges that feel overwhelming, and taking the first step towards therapy can sometimes feel difficult. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and explore positive change at your own pace.

I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and offer an impartial, non-judgemental and culturally sensitive approach. I welcome individuals regardless of age, gender, culture, religion, identity or personal experiences. I understand that our backgrounds, relationships, beliefs and life experiences can shape who we are, and I aim to create a space where you feel respected, understood and accepted.

I have experience supporting people with anxiety, trauma, attachment difficulties, cultural identity, domestic abuse, relationship and family difficulties, childhood experiences, low self-esteem, confidence, loss and grief, stress, burnout, addictions, life transitions and complex mental health needs.

I have also supported children, young people and families, including those with experience of foster care and the care system, helping individuals navigate challenges around belonging, identity, relationships and emotional wellbeing.

My professional background includes working within domestic abuse services, alcohol and drug services, MIND, BAME communities, Social Care, Education settings, fostering services and with looked-after children.

I work in a trauma-informed way and understand that everyone’s journey is unique. Therapy is not about judgement or telling you what to do, but about creating a space where you can safely explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Together, we can work towards developing self-awareness, building resilience, recognising patterns and creating meaningful change.

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy through face-to-face sessions, telephone appointments and online sessions.
